Heart monitor may cut AFib recurrence after ablation

NCT ID NCT04922281

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether using an insertable heart monitor to guide early treatment can reduce the amount of time people spend in atrial fibrillation (AFib) after a catheter ablation procedure. About 120 adults with AFib will receive the monitor and be followed for 15 months. The goal is to see if catching and treating AFib early leads to better heart rhythm control.
