NCT ID NCT06684860
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study compared two ways to diagnose H. pylori, a bacteria that can cause stomach ulcers. The rapid urease test is cheap and quick, but can sometimes give false positives. The newer molecular test is more precise and can also detect antibiotic resistance. Researchers enrolled 100 adults to see which test works better.
