Supercharged immune cells take on hard-to-treat cancers

NCT ID NCT06198296

First seen Nov 03, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests a new type of immunotherapy for adults with solid tumors that have a protein called GPC3 on their surface. Researchers take a patient's own T cells, add genes to help them recognize and attack GPC3-positive cancer cells, and also include a safety switch to stop the cells if needed. The main goal is to check safety and find the right dose in 21 participants.
