First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests whether fucoidan, a supplement from brown seaweed, can reduce fatigue caused by chemotherapy in people with gastrointestinal or gynecological cancer. About 34 participants will receive either fucoidan or a placebo, and report their fatigue levels over 16 weeks. The goal is to see if this natural compound offers a safe way to ease a common side effect of cancer treatment.
