Seaweed extract tested as chemo fatigue fighter

Summary

This study tests whether fucoidan, a supplement from brown seaweed, can reduce fatigue caused by chemotherapy. About 34 adults with gastrointestinal or gynecological cancer will take either fucoidan or a placebo daily for 16 weeks. Researchers will track fatigue levels using a simple 0-10 scale to see if the supplement makes a difference.
