NCT ID NCT07606287

First seen May 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at how a special program, called the Geriatric Surgery Verification Program, works at the James Cancer Hospital. The program helps care teams address older patients' needs, like memory, medications, and social support, before, during, and after surgery. Researchers will track whether using the program leads to shorter hospital stays, fewer complications, and better recovery for adults aged 65 and older having cancer surgery.
