First seen Mar 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether focused ultrasound (MR-HIFU), alone or with standard radiation, can better relieve bone pain caused by cancer that has spread. About 216 adults with painful bone lesions will be randomly assigned to one of three groups. The goal is to see if adding ultrasound improves pain control and quality of life compared to radiation alone.
