CBD shows promise for PTSD in new clinical trial

Summary

This study tests whether cannabidiol (CBD) can reduce PTSD symptoms and improve thinking in 120 adults with PTSD, half of whom also have a mild traumatic brain injury. Participants take either 400 mg, 800 mg of CBD, or a placebo daily for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if CBD helps ease symptoms like anxiety and memory problems.
