First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether cannabidiol (CBD) can reduce PTSD symptoms and improve thinking problems. It includes 120 adults with PTSD, half of whom also have a mild traumatic brain injury. Participants take either a daily CBD capsule (400 mg or 800 mg) or a placebo for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if CBD helps more than a placebo in easing PTSD.
