New therapy aims to ease the mental burden of brain cancer
NCT ID NCT06180460
Summary
This study tested a special talk therapy program called CALM, designed to help people with advanced brain cancer cope with emotional distress, depression, and anxiety about death. It compared the CALM program to the usual care patients receive. The main goal was to see if the therapy was practical and acceptable for patients, measuring things like how many people completed it and how satisfied they were.
