Summary
This study tests a new mouthwash called Amphion in 60 adults with gum disease (periodontitis). Participants will use the mouthwash along with standard deep cleaning to see if it reduces plaque and gum bleeding better than cleaning alone. The mouthwash works by forming a physical barrier on teeth to stop plaque regrowth, avoiding the bacterial resistance linked to long-term antibiotic use.
