Summary
This study tests if a dietary supplement called resistant potato starch can prevent joint pain and stiffness caused by aromatase inhibitors, a common breast cancer treatment. About 20 women with early-stage breast cancer or at high risk will take the starch alongside their hormone therapy. The goal is to see if the starch is safe and if people can stick with it, with the hope that it boosts good gut bacteria to reduce symptoms.
