First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a smartphone app called ZeroOCD that uses augmented reality to help people with contamination OCD face their fears. About 189 adults with OCD symptoms will be randomly assigned to use the app, receive standard therapy by video, or join a waitlist. The goal is to see if the app can reduce OCD symptoms as well as or better than traditional therapy.
