Teens helping teens: new study tests Mentor-Led suicide prevention

Summary

This study tests whether trained youth mentors can deliver a brief therapy to reduce suicide risk in Hispanic adolescents aged 12-17. Participants will either receive 6 therapy sessions with a mentor or usual care. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and helps reduce depression and feelings of being a burden.
