First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study is testing whether wireless, wearable sensors can safely and accurately monitor heart rate, breathing, temperature, and oxygen levels in 75 newborn babies in the NICU. The goal is to see if these wireless devices work as well as the standard wired monitors, and if they are comfortable and safe for the babies. The study also asks doctors, nurses, and parents what they think about using wireless monitors.
