First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a procedure called irreversible electroporation (IRE) using the NanoKnife system to treat intermediate-risk prostate cancer. The goal is to destroy cancer cells with fewer side effects than standard treatments like surgery or radiation. About 100 men over age 50 with localized prostate cancer will receive the treatment and be followed for 12 months to check safety and effectiveness.
