Summary

This study looks at whether using a shared decision-making tool helps patients with severe hip or knee osteoarthritis feel more satisfied with their treatment. About 615 patients will be followed for one year after surgery to measure pain, physical function, quality of life, and how involved they felt in decisions. The goal is to understand what matters most to patients and improve their care experience.
