Phone app aims to curb suicide in older adults after hospitalization

Summary

This study tests a mobile program called WellPATH-PREVENT for adults aged 50 to 90 who were recently hospitalized for suicidal thoughts or a suicide attempt. The goal is to see if the app helps them better manage their emotions and lowers their risk of future suicidal thoughts. Participants will use the app and complete surveys and brain-activity tasks to measure changes.
