First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study is testing whether using a weighted blanket at night can help veterans with chronic pain and sleep problems. Researchers will give 160 veterans either a light (3-pound) or heavy (15-pound) blanket to use at home for 6 weeks. They will track changes in pain levels, sleep quality, and pain medication use to see if the heavier blanket provides more relief.
