NCT ID NCT06864208

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests a 4-week program that helps teens aged 13-17 deal with weight stigma and negative self-judgment about weight, followed by a 16-week weight management program. About 64 teens will be randomly assigned to either this stigma-focused program or a general health education session before the weight program. The goal is to see if addressing weight bias improves mental health, stress markers, and eating behaviors.
