Can texts and counseling help NYC drivers shed pounds?
NCT ID NCT05770570
Summary
This study is testing a weight loss program designed for taxi and ride-share drivers in New York City. It will compare four different support methods—like personal counseling, text messages, and weekly calls—to see which combination works best to help drivers lose at least 5% of their body weight over a year. The goal is to create an effective and practical program for this hard-to-reach, high-risk group of essential workers.
