Summary
This study tested whether coaching through a hospital's online patient portal helps adults maintain weight loss after losing at least 5% of their body weight. 269 participants either tracked their weight, diet, and activity on their own or also received coaching from regular clinic staff like nurses. The goal was to see if coaching leads to better long-term weight control.
