Summary
This study looks at whether eating 50 grams of walnuts every day for 24 weeks can improve brain function in adults aged 45-75 with abdominal obesity. Researchers will measure blood flow in the brain and how well the brain responds to insulin, as well as thinking skills and appetite control. The goal is to see if walnuts can help protect against cognitive decline and improve overall brain health.
