First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether using virtual reality (VR) to train patients before colorectal cancer surgery can lower their anxiety, boost their readiness, and speed up recovery. About 68 participants will be split into three groups: VR training, written brochures, or standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety, comfort, satisfaction, and recovery quality to see if VR makes a difference.
