First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study uses virtual reality and eye-tracking to measure how pupils react during memory tasks. Researchers hope to find a simple, non-invasive way to detect early cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease, mild cognitive impairment, and depression. 140 adults will be tested at three visits over six months. No treatment is given—this is purely a measurement study.
