First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether low vitamin D levels are linked to higher insulin resistance in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will measure insulin resistance using a simple blood test called the triglyceride-glucose index. About 165 adults with type 2 diabetes will participate, and the goal is to better understand how vitamin D might affect blood sugar control.
