This study looked at whether taking vitamin C can prevent Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a painful condition that can develop after a wrist fracture. Researchers enrolled 220 adults with specific types of wrist fractures. Participants were given vitamin C to see if it reduced the chance of developing CRPS compared to not taking it.
