First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding visual feedback exercises—using a laser pointer—to standard physical therapy can improve balance and daily movement in people with Parkinson's disease. 32 adults with mild to moderate Parkinson's will be randomly assigned to either standard exercise alone or standard exercise plus laser-guided trunk and leg exercises for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if the extra visual cues help with postural control and functional mobility.
