Virtual reality could ease pain of egg freezing

Summary
This study tests whether watching relaxing virtual reality (VR) scenes before egg retrieval can lower pain in women freezing their eggs. One hundred women will be randomly assigned to either standard care or standard care plus a VR relaxation session. Pain levels will be measured with a simple 0-10 scale after the procedure. If effective, VR could offer a safe, drug-free way to improve comfort during this common fertility treatment.
