Summary

This study tested whether wearing virtual reality glasses during intrauterine device (IUD) insertion can lower pain and anxiety. 70 women were randomly assigned to either use VR or receive standard care. Pain and anxiety levels were measured right after the procedure. The goal is to find a simple, non-drug way to improve comfort during this common procedure.
