Summary
This study aimed to see if having a parent appear on a video call during anesthesia induction could reduce children's anxiety as effectively as the sedative midazolam. It was designed for children aged 4 to 8 undergoing outpatient surgery. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
