Virtual reality nature brings the outdoors to dementia care

Summary
This study tests whether watching 10-minute virtual reality nature videos twice a week for 12 weeks can improve quality of life and mood in nursing home residents with dementia. Sixty residents will be randomly assigned to either the virtual nature group or continue their usual care. Researchers will measure changes in quality of life, depression, agitation, and medication use.
