First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a virtual world-based cardiac rehabilitation program is feasible for heart patients. The goal is to see if this approach can improve cardiovascular health and reduce hospital readmissions.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Virtual world-based cardiac rehabilitation program
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a convenient, home-based option for cardiac rehabilitation, potentially improving heart health and reducing hospital visits.
What could go wrong
This is a very small feasibility study with only 5 participants, so results may not apply to larger groups. The virtual format may not suit everyone, and long-term benefits are unknown.
