NCT ID NCT07497711
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests two self-care methods—virtual ear acupressure and Baduanjin qigong—to prevent or reduce period pain in 145 women aged 16–35 with primary dysmenorrhea. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups and practice their assigned technique for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure pain severity, fatigue, sleep, mood, and gut bacteria changes to see if these approaches help.
