First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests two self-care methods—virtual ear acupressure and Baduanjin qigong (a gentle exercise)—to prevent or reduce menstrual pain in 145 young women with primary dysmenorrhea. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups and practice their assigned treatment for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if these approaches can lower pain severity and improve related symptoms like fatigue, sleep, and mood.
