Massive french study to track virus effects on pregnant women and kids for 7 years

NCT ID NCT07412977

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study will follow 5,160 pregnant women in France who have HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or an arbovirus infection (like Zika or dengue), along with their children, for up to 7 years. Researchers want to learn how these viruses and their treatments affect pregnancy, the mother's health, and the child's development. The goal is to gather information to improve care, not to test a new treatment.
