First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a device called VasQ that is placed around a blood vessel connection (fistula) used for dialysis in people with kidney failure. The goal is to see if VasQ helps the fistula work well enough for dialysis sooner and for longer compared to standard fistula creation. About 300 adults who need a new dialysis fistula will take part and be followed for 12 months.
