First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This pilot study tested whether a values-affirmation exercise could help older adults with heart failure stick to their medications during cardiac rehabilitation. 43 participants were randomly assigned to either the values exercise or usual care. The main goals were to see if the study procedures were feasible and acceptable, and to measure medication adherence using electronic monitors.
