First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study aims to see if a new computer algorithm can accurately estimate how many calories people with movement limitations burn each day. Researchers will have 125 adults wear an activity monitor and drink special water to compare the algorithm's estimates with a gold-standard measurement. The goal is to improve tools for tracking energy use in people who move differently due to conditions like movement disorders.
