First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will measure how much energy older adults use during mat and equipment-based Pilates sessions. Twenty men and women aged 60+ with Pilates experience will complete both types of Pilates and treadmill walking. Researchers will track calories burned, heart rate, and perceived effort to see how Pilates compares to moderate-intensity walking.
