Nerve stretching offers new hope for IBS sufferers

Summary

This study tests whether a gentle, hands-on technique called neurodynamic mobilization of the vagus nerve can reduce symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) in women. 32 women with mild to moderate IBS will receive six weeks of treatment. Researchers will measure changes in symptom severity, quality of life, and anxiety levels before and after the sessions.
