First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive device that stimulates the vagus nerve can reduce stomach and bowel symptoms in children aged 10-18 with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS) and related autonomic nervous system problems. Researchers will measure changes in digestive symptoms, stomach function, and body awareness. The goal is to find a safe, drug-free way to improve quality of life for these children.
