Digital coach aims to stop diabetes before it starts

Summary
This study tests a web app called VA|PREVENTION that uses a virtual coach to help adults at high risk for type 2 diabetes make healthier choices about diet, exercise, and sitting less. About 180 adults with prediabetes or a high risk score will either use the app or receive a standard guidebook. Researchers will check changes in waist size, activity levels, and diabetes risk over 10 months to see if the app works better than usual advice.
