NCT ID NCT07372391

First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tested two treatments for upper cross syndrome, a common muscle imbalance from poor posture. Sixty adults with neck, shoulder, or upper back pain and fatigue took part. One group used Janda's approach (stretching tight muscles and strengthening weak ones), while the other used instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) plus heat and TENS. The goal was to see which better reduced pain, fatigue, and improved posture.
