NCT ID NCT06013722
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new way to find unstable plaques in the heart arteries of people who come to the emergency room with chest pain but are not having a heart attack. Researchers use a simple calcium scan to group patients by risk, then follow up with special PET scans to see if plaques are changing. The goal is to learn how to better prevent future heart attacks by catching problems early.
