First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether training just one leg can improve strength, balance, and pain in both legs for older adults with knee osteoarthritis. 45 people aged 60-80 will do either strength training, balance training, or both on one leg for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in movement, pain, and fall risk to see if the untrained leg also benefits.
