Summary
This study aims to understand why some people with chronic lung disease develop pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs). Researchers will compare lung tissue from 105 adults undergoing lung surgery, including those with and without pulmonary hypertension. By examining blood, fluid, and tissue samples, they hope to find clues that could lead to better treatments.
