First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at why Crohn's disease often comes back after surgery. Researchers will examine immune cells in the gut that respond to a protein called IL-23, which is known to fuel inflammation. By studying 40 patients before and after routine treatment, they hope to find better ways to target the disease and prevent recurrence.
