First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at why people with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (thickened heart muscle) often develop atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat) that is harder to treat. Researchers will study heart electrical signals and imaging in 40 adults with both conditions. The goal is to better understand the problem and guide future treatments.
