Decades-Long study probes if your personality can predict your Heart's future

NCT ID NCT00005398

Summary

This study is observing thousands of University of North Carolina alumni over many years to learn if personality traits like hostility and depression are connected to the development of heart disease. It is not testing a treatment; instead, it aims to gather knowledge by tracking participants' health, behaviors, and psychological factors over their adult lives. The goal is to better understand how our minds and emotions might influence our physical heart health.
