First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tested two physiotherapy methods—therapeutic ultrasound and phonophoresis (ultrasound with a medicated gel)—in 60 adults aged 18–30 with chronic low back pain. All participants also received standard treatments like TENS and exercises. The goal was to see which method better reduces pain, improves flexibility, and boosts daily function. Results may help guide future back pain care.
